To my knowledge the social media posts of doctors in the latter category have ceased immediately on GMC discipline, as this doctors should have too.

I find it concerning that where cases exist of doctors promoting LGBQT and Trans lifestyles with as much venom, if not more, than this man has expressed his views, on social media, the result has been considerably less than being 'struck off' permanently.

However, beliefs about marriage being between a man and a woman and beliefs about the engagement in same sex activities are main stream Christian views, as they are also the mainstream beliefs of Muslims and people of no professed religion.

on Social Media and certainly should not harass fellow professionals or use the sort of language he used about very vulnerable people. I find it sad that a fellow Christian has sunk to this level of behaviour. 2/3

Thank you for this information Trish. I do not know much about the details of this case except what is in the public domain. I think that doctors and other similar professionals should by definition not broadcast their views on subjects as contentious as LGBQT 1/2
