The fact that you can only be called a naturist if you follow certain rules is also ridiculous but understandable. I prefer a more general term for it. Human. Does what it says without being too specific.

We were forced to like football & TV if we wanted to hang out with the cool kids. And we were given a very idealistic view of what sex should be. I ignored all of it.
