So many houses in my street with windows open trying to cool down. But if it’s hotter outside than in this isn’t going to work! Dump heat morning and evening, and then keep everything shut for the rest of the day. Graph shows I wasn’t fast enough off the mark this morning! #EcoBungalow #Passivhaus

The MVHR either warms incoming air through the heat exchanger or brings it in at outside temp, bypassing the exchanger. Doing something clever today. Bypass is fully shut (so heat exchanger operating), incoming air ever so slightly cooler. Never seen this before. #EcoBungalow #PassivHaus #Retrofit

Still costing me less to be infinitely more comfortable, so I’m not complaining (much!)

Yes, they’re average daily figures including when the house is empty. Netatmo provides greater detail on a daily basis. The MVHR is set up with an average occupancy of 3 people, and automatically boosts itself when there are more.

Here's the Netatmo graph for air quality during November. You can see the high of 632ppm on PassivHaus Trust Open Day. Otherwise, it's been from 380ish to 560ish - pretty much consistently excellent. All thanks to the MVHR. #EcoBungalow #Passivhaus #PassiveHouse #EnerPHit #Retrofit #MVHR

Ironically, the only time I’ve ever had anything other than ‘excellent’ for CO2 was when I had 9 people in my house for PassivHaus Trust open day! And even then it was acceptable.
