I'm trying to avoid buying fruit & veg packed in plastic, which at times is almost impossible task!🙄 We have stainless steel water bottles, same with carry on coffee cups. I'm still looking for nice/big enough lunch box though. Small steps! We all need to do more!

Whole vegan quiche

Managed to make a quiche last night for today's dinner 🌱😅 Had to open extra jar of edamame 🫛 though, as older daughter started munching on them & ate more than half the jar 🤣
Quiche -> tofu, cashews, white miso, garlic, black salt, onion, mushrooms, edamame & spices👌🏻

My older daughter said that the brussel sprouts one is good, as it doesn't taste like brussel sprouts 🤣 well, anything to make them eat their greens 🤭

Cats are the best 😻 especially those that arrive in our lives unexpectedly & stay forever!

Had unplanned day off yesterday (younger kid sick, had to stay home), today also home, as school closed & took day hols for it. Used that time to make #kimchi 🤤 love the colours, already smells delicious 😋 Had to put it on windowsill to take the pic, so dark here today with all the rain ☔😶 #vegan

Always add it to my stews, pies & even spaghetti sauces (like Bolognese). Gives really nice deep, rich flavour👌🏻

I also add Marmite, it gives nice umami flavour - though I ran out atm so nothing in today's pie 🫣 Love the idea of making roux with red wine & corn flour, will try it next time!👌🏻 Thank you! 🫶🏻

Do you have any "secret", not so common ingredients in yours?

Yes, veggies also make great snacks! I find mini tomatoes 🍅 a bit messy, when they explode once you bite them 🤣 Maybe carrot sticks. Also, recently saw veggie crisps, similar to normal potato ones, must give them a try!

Agree about the nuts, love snacking on them, the only problem is that they're quite pricey 🫣 Have to bring more fruit with me, ideally precut so it's easy to snack on 😉

I also do most grocery shopping & cooking, but my teenage daughter will simply say she won't eat it or sth else & that's it 🤷🏻‍♀️ thankfully it doesn't happen too often 😅
