These dainty little Aster blooms have been gifting me so much joy since their petals began unfurling a few days ago 🥰 They looked particularly beautiful this morning, cloaked in a fine mist of tiny water droplets, with their colour popping so vibrantly beneath an overcast, grey sky ❤️

The Comfrey has enjoyed a little revival along our local riverbank, as this bountiful plant gives one final flourish before the season's end 🥰 They added a wonderful splash of colour to our wander today & are proving a welcome source of pollen & nectar for the Bumblebees too 🐝❤️

They were so incredibly beautiful they brought a tear to my eye 🥹❤️ Aren't trees just magical at this time of year, when their leaves are gradually transforming into autumn splendour, but they're still holding on to the last colour of summer 😍

I hadn't ever realised quite how beautiful flowering Common Reed was 😍 Their feathery, iridescent purple flowers have been a real highlight on our wanders this week ❤️

There's nothing quite like the peace of a wild village #churchyard 🌿 Beneath the shade of the churchyard's trees, with the ancient church spire towering above us, we quietly watched a Collared Dove thoughtfully gather the perfect sticks for its nest somewhere nearby ❤️
