36 years ago...when you say it like that it seems a lifetime ago but this day still hits hard and brings back lots of unwanted memories
RIP the 97 YNWA
Surely it depends how much he wants and how long for
26.01.2025 18:05 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0We've played well today
On and off the ball
There's been a few that played for both teams
Last direct transfer was Phil Chisnall in the 60s
Some of our fans are crazy. I mean apart from him being 27, massively inconsistent and we have miles better players than him. There hasn't been a transfer between United and Liverpool for over half a century
20.12.2024 09:02 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0MNF (Thierry Henry & Carragher) analysis of LFC v Fulham (Slots tactics) and Arsenal v Everton (Arteta tactics) was excellent

13.12.2024 22:05 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0It's amazing that Oasis ripped these lads off

13.12.2024 20:58 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Arsenal score a huge amount of their goals from set pieces
All good teams rely on them but they do seem to score more than anyone I can remember seeing before
76 v Norwich was my first home game
First match I went to was an Everton one at Goodison (probably a couple of months before) they absolutely battered someone 4 or 5-0 but can't remember who it was
Borrowing a milk crate from the dairy/sweet shop on Rockfield Rd and standing on it at the front of the Anny Rd end (where the current away fans are) is one of my earliest memories of going to a reds game
05.12.2024 07:38 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0My grandad used to take me as he was a blue
I would go there one week and he would take me to watch the reds the following week late 70s/very early 80s
I like Slot
Very candid
Scored 2, assisted 1 and hit the bar
Hes a bit goodπ
Did we pay Feyenoord any compensation for Slot?
02.12.2024 20:48 β π 3 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0Well that was gonna be my next point
Konate, Jones & Diaz I think will be in the last 2 years of their contracts in the summer
I think it's very tight with these SCR rules and FSG are probably being over cautious as well but it's defo a factor and a big one
I personally think it's a big factor
Doesn't mean we can't get them all done but I suspect we won't be giving all 3 of them "what they want"
Correct
There's unknown factors in this
Difference between Klopp and Slot wages
Thiago, Matip, Carvalho VDB wages off books transfers out
Chiesa in (and the keeper)
How much Revenue has increased
Plus Simon Hughes says Salah thinks he's the best in the world and wants his wages to reflect that
UEFAs Squad Cost Ratio
So your wages, plus transfer fees, plus agents fees minus sales must be max 70% of your total Revenue
Look at that graph from 2022.....I think we are very close to that 70% level so don't have a lot of wriggle room
I think the UEFA SCR are a major factor in this
We've lost some big earners Klopp & staff, plus Thiago & Matip and sold Carvalho & VDB..but we have brought in Slot and Chiesa
Here's Swiss Rambles view from 2023
I see my sarcasm has been lost in translation
01.12.2024 19:13 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0Let's see how we get on when we play someone decent

29.11.2024 08:46 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Players will fly home
Their bus will drive back
I am assuming the players & staff had already been dropped at the airport as I think the crash was on the M40 which is near Oxford
This rumour has started on the back of Slots PC being moved to the afternoon
Until someone reliable reports it I would take it as guesswork
