To add one more thought to this whole mess:
OH BOY I really wish adult content creators could go a few years without so much unexpected shit coming from the sidelines to fuck shit up for us.

All while big companies like Facebook and Roblox keep willfully dropping the ball on their own platforms.

I cannot be optimistic in any way about this whole thing. Even its alleged merits will be illusory and temporary. It won't be long before minors are skirting around age verification. This will all be for nothing.

Moreover, why should creators take even more of this burden? We already make an active effort to keep minors away and ban them when they slip through the cracks. We already have to jump through so many hoops to make and distribute adult content, why are we being pushed to yet another one?

I'm a bit cautious about what you said because, of course, keeping minors away from these adult spaces is a high priority for everyone invested in FVNs. No one will disagree with that, but that's not really the situation here. On a technical level, Discord's solution isn't even effective.
