This week we are welcoming at the Universidad de León student teachers and teacher trainers from 8 European countries and the US for our Erasmus+ Blended Intensive Programme on the theme of Innovation in Foreign Language Education.

Points for future discussion   * What forms of AI are utterly irredeemable – things we need fight hard against and eradicate? * What aspects of education are utterly sacrosanct – things we need to fight hard for and protect? * Is it possible to develop forms of AI to do different/new/hitherto unimaginable things (not just business-as-usual)? * Is it possible to develop forms of AI that are mindful of the rich diversity of learning & teaching that exist? * Is it possible to develop forms of educational AI that are not environmentally harmful?

Some questions that we need to be asking about AI and education (... from my keynote yesterday at the Udforsk AI conference)
