Still work to be done but it feels like the land is holding its breath against spring, longing for life.
I share the land’s emotional state. I am breathless against the hope of political and social rebirth but fear we are at the start of the winter.

My wife was very excited to read your offer to get together and graft.
Not yet. But my wife has a little experience and is eager for more.
Thank you!
We are. Love the connection. We are looking for Perry pears to start an orchard. Do you have access to any?
Looking for dwarf to seedling stock. We have quite a bit of room.
I'm going to post this video every day so we never forget

And I think of my work as a consumer protection attorney as steps taken to protect and preserve the health of commerce.
All that I do is aimed at preserving protecting and healing.
That sounds wonderful. We are just starting on this property.
In Castleton Vermont.
Looking to start a Perry pear orchard and also utilize trees for winter forage for livestock. Greg Judy style. Two different forms of silo pasture in mind.
Happy to share also.
2. Why is that the optimal tax rate.
I remain agnostic about taxation. I lack the expertise to truly say: we need more taxation or less.
And so I stay fairly quiet on the subject. But for tax cut advocate ideologues out there, give us your best answers and let’s get into a conversation.
Ok?
I ask of tax cut ideologues that would allow a conversation and potential bridge to understanding. I’ve yet to receive a substantively fair answer because they don’t have one as this is ideology untethered to philosophy or governance.
Here they are:
1. What is the optimal tax rate?
And
As opposed to MAGA which is not really in lockstep with the old right in this, raising taxes is terrible. Lower taxes will save the country.
That argument has no credibility with me. The reason is because it is an ideology without a foundation in anything if substance.
I have two questions that
Watching the children squabble in congress about the debt and deficit. We have to cut, Cut, CUT!!!
Because the debt is too high.
Well, maybe it is. Maybe it isn’t. I’m not qualified to say.
But assuming it is, a good way to generate revenue is to increase taxes.
That is, in the old right …
Well stated.

Fascinating and ugly story.
I call it the vampire economy where big finance sucks the lifeblood from the middle class and the working poor.
Only government protections save people.
I am in the trenches on this every day.
And I lack the tools to explain my true experience with the American economy. It is frustrating.
I deal with friends and other people who are MAGA adjacent. Maybe MAGA all the way. I prefer not to inquire too deeply on that.
The shared ideology is that government is bad and business is good.
I am a consumer protection attorney. I see the predations of big finance and people all the time.
Not sure how much of a role I will have to play there, but I’ll be happy to help in any way that I can.

I have topo map and pics/videos.
Dm if interested. Prefer that you have a permaculture design experience but not required.
Location is central Vermont.
I am looking for a permaculture design plan for the garden I am designing for my wife.
This is a paying gig.
It is going to be three zones in a slope with terraces. I am going to build the retaining walls in the spring. Construction equipment is available to me.
…
I think so. I represented Guantanamo prisoners for a decade because we were being unamerican.
I think I am going to get back involved.
