Just heard Drew Struzan passed away 😞 His incredible work has given me and countless others so much awe, joy and inspiration!

I had posters of his work as a teen, I began using color pencils because I thought he used them too. Always inspired by him. Just utterly heart broken.

RIP Drew Struzan.

creative people are 1) pissed about their work being stolen and used against them 2) worried about environmental impacts 3) worried about energy costs 4) worried about skill atrophy 5) terrified of propaganda

i think cracker barrel really shook people. im seeing wariness about looking too minimal / corporate. i think that generally is good, but designers need to not over correct or lose principles of design. illustrations dont make good logos. an ID doesn't have to be carried by 1 logo either.

the Giants trusted us to really push the concept on this one. it includes some wild type treatments, a new red (outside of team uniforms),a new photo direction they executed perfectly, and a LOT more. Go Big Blue!
