No worries! I didn’t establish that in the video and didn’t think many would even see it! I’m so used to people just knowing who I am from my book and my comedy club, I need to “re-introduce” myself now that I’ve sold my club and am back online again.

Mom is 78, not on social really and definitely allergic to talking politics in public so she wasn’t going to make the video 😁😁

Name signs are “bestowed” upon you by a deaf person. Some exceptions to this “rule” are for CODAs in the Deaf community. Since my deaf mom helped with the sign, I’m a CODA, & know Zohran (he’s my assemblyman), we figured I could do the honors. I wanted one that wasn’t boring like his initials! 😁

Incidentally I have given a speech or two and taught a workshop at NTID/RID with my memoir.

I am a CODA in the Deaf community and made this sign with my Deaf mom. She’s 78 & not online much & allergic to public discussion of politics. But I have worked with Zohran (he’s my assemblyman) & hosted events for him at my club so all that combined, we did the honors.
