Gonna take a shot in the dark here. Does anyone have any good guides or resources for how to break down animal/anthro heads/skulls? I've reached the point in my studies where I'm supposed to be learning human head anatomy and I genuinely have no interest in spending time learning that.

So yay, 2 month streak of practicing, but I failed the big drawing of the term since I didn't finish it before last week was up. It's like almost done though, so I can kinda keep going. Sorry for lack of art, maybe something soon this week.

tl;dr: I hope the Wilds expansion is more fun for me than the base game was.

As for what I'd want in the expansion, if monster hunter is just an arcade-like boss rush simulator now, make the fights more interesting. Oh and give me more Frontier monsters if that's the case. Those are always a good time lmao

I hope those 10* monsters are actually difficult enough to warrant how stupidly strong you can make your hunter in this game. It would be nice to have something to sink my teeth in like Omega was before AT Nu Udra dropped -- even if it's for a brief while.

That's my biggest gripe with endgame in this game. Nothing is difficult enough to warrant changing up strategy or pushing for that extra defense and attack. I know more focus has been put on time trials, and I feel that's literally because that's the only way to make the fights interesting XD

I harp on the difficulty a lot in my arguments against this game because they've stripped a lot of the systems down that I enjoyed to their bare minimum, so all that's left for me to engage with are the fights themselves. Don't feel like min-maxing because there haven't been fights that warrant it.

I could go on about how much I dislike the Artian weapon system, about how buggy it's been for nearly a full year before the improvements came out, or the genuine lack of difficulty due to lack of friction and hunter powercreep, but I'm mostly just sad that MH ain't what I fell in love with anymore.

Gimme that 10* Proof of a Hero quest NOW!!! I demand a fight that will actually be challenging! I hope the Monster Hunter Wilds expansion actually adds friction in progression. Despite all of the really good improvements they made, it will go down as one of my least favorite MH games of all time.

Today was the last day for mandatory gesture drawing for a week but I've just really gotten into the bait of sparing 30 minutes to do it every day. I kinda don't wanna lose that habit so I think I might be sneaking it in between all the new stuff.
