if you're not from Seattle maybe this will seem weird but my entire ballot this year was local races with only two candidates, approve or deny initiatives/measures, and unopposed judges

the Seattle mayoral election has only two candidates (the two most popular candidates from the primary regardless of party) and they're in random or alphabetical order and we've been doing that for like a decade and it works very very well

still that's a fucking cursed ballot design

To be fair they probably do rolling backend deployments, A/B testing a feature by customer is slightly harder but yeah it's the same idea and I think still very doable for them at their level of sophistication
