When we were talking about the ceremony before the wedding, Clare told me that she first met me when she canvassed with me during the Obama campaign. It’s so neat that I’m still reconnecting with people that I worked with back on that campaign in 2008.

Y’all know one of my favorite things to do is officiate weddings, I got to do that today in beautiful Cottontown, TN.

The couple, Nikki & Clare, were gorgeous, the log home was beautiful, and the family and friends were so welcoming. It’s always an honor to be a part of a couple’s happiest day.

We say this every year. I always vote against the GOP budget because Medicaid expansion isn’t included and I always talk about the budget being a moral document.

There has been no explanation that I am aware of for these changes. I am also aware of no warnings it was going to happen. Please call Tray Hargett’s office at the Secretary of State and ask him why this database has been censored and why there was no notice it was happening.

As of yesterday, the TN opposing viewpoint data has been changed. They have removed over 40 topics, from our database. I am told they are using the age-appropriate materials act to censor topics. These topics have been the subject of research papers for ages. These topics are important to students.

🚨🚨🚨 I need to talk about censoring of info in TN at the K-12 and college level. It seems Tre Hargett’s 1984 Ministry of Truth has arrived.

There is a data base for students nationally called Opposing Viewpoints. It provides reputable sources to both sides of an issue for students for research.

Imagine being a human being and not being embarrassed or ashamed to be sitting there.

Unions represent workers, they aren’t corporations at any level. Many were there: electricians, carpenters, steel workers, laborers, custodial, hospital workers, campus workers, and more. There are union members that work all over west TN.

Fabulous Labor Day with lots of my friends in organized labor—thank them for benefits, 5 day work weeks, vacations and more! I started with the Roane County Democrats and then went to Melton Hill Lake to see AFL-CIO, Jobs with Justice East TN, DSA, and so many more! A great day!

MASON, TN’s aldermen voted to approve the contract with CORE CIVIC 4-3-1, but rejected the contract with ICE.
