I use Aseprite with a mouse, and my most used resolution (for my chiptune animations which are vertical videos) is 108x192 🙂

"What software do you use to make your chiptune animations?" 🤔

Main software: Aseprite for pixel art, LSDj for chiptunes, and Shotcut for video editing.

Extras: BGB (Game Boy emulator) to run LSDj and record the chiptune, and Audacity to trim the recording and tweak the volume.

The first 7 seconds of the song are (based on) this challenge's "Play It Feel It" music theme. I composed/improvised the rest myself, and also wrote the lyrics 😇 As always, the song is made with LSDj on an (emulated) Game Boy 🎶

Last week, I came across Thomann's #PlayitFeelitChallenge, and decided to participate with a chiptune animation! Here's what I came up with 😌
