Michigan Legislators Propose Online Porn Ban Michigan lawmakers have introduced a bill that would make it illegal to distribute pornography via the internet in the state.

"The bill is unconstitutional at every turn. Regardless, it is alarming that this type of thinking and government waste continues to occur."

Adult industry attorney Corey D. Silverstein shared his feelings on the proposed porn ban in Michigan, calling it shameful and a complete waste of tax dollars.

He also told Avn that “This is an outrageous proposal that has essentially no chance of survival. It is wholly unconstitutional.”

Florida AG Sues Owners of Adult Sites for AV Law Violations AVN Florida is suing the parent companies of porn sites based in Czech Republic for violating age verification laws.

N.C. Legislature Overrides Veto of State Record Keeping Bill AVN Lawmakers in North Carolina voted Tuesday to override a gubernatorial veto on a bill that would require record-keeping for pornography production at the state level.

Silverstein concluded, "I’m advising every company and individual with ties to the adult industry to consult legal counsel immediately if they operate in or have any connection to North Carolina."
