I think it should be a mandatory requirement in order to participate in everything from UN councils, international trade deals, IMF, world bank, Olympics, World Cup, and any other interaction between nations. It's barbaric to not be a signatory and abide by international law. By all means, push.

TBF, the mythology has always been out of step with reality. It's just a little clearer now how out of step. Trump is threatening the US will militarily attack it's neighbors to the north and south, something it has done before and apparently is willing to do again.
