Top five NFL teams in point differential:

1. Colts (+74)
2. Lions (+62)
3. Texans (+47)
4. Seahawks (+41)
5. Bills (+40)

Just as anyone would have expected.

I think we can figure out how to get you there β€” with an injury waiver

I am angry at Aaron Boone despite not being sure what he should have done differently. Something.

CBSSports.com screen capture:

"I think these complaints are often rooted -- subconsciously, in most cases -- in an instinct to infantilize women and a discomfort with seeing women show levels of brute force and aggression typically only seen in men at the highest level of sport. Said uneasiness can be exacerbated when the women in question are Black and members of the LGBTQ community.

But multiple things can be true at once. Those biases can exist and can cloud the conversations around and perceptions of the league, and there can also be a real problem with the style of play and quality of officiating. That's where I land."

Cheryl Reeve is right: The WNBA's physicality problem has hit a crisis point and officiating needs to change Reeve's Game 4 suspension was justified, but so was her anger

I, for one, think the Packers are cowards if they don’t get former star HS running back Micah Parsons an offensive touch.

I don’t think Chiles fits in that group, though obviously the point remains

I agree with your premise, but on the play in question, Thomas clearly touched the ball before any contact, and the lower body stuff afterward seemed unintentional. That said, I can buy that less contact all season helps keep Collier healthier and allows her to handle that incidental contact.

Cy Young runner-up* Pete Schourek indeed was a southpaw

* in the same way that someone got to win the silver medal when Katie Ledecky was doing long races

Hmm maybe it’s a Pete Harnish thing though since it’s really Mets-Reds

(And surely no other Met ever also played for the Reds, particularly no other right handed starting pitcher)

I love that Rick Pitino wouldn’t prioritize recruiting a capable shooter with the entire NBA available to him.

The correct opinion of the mvp race is that baseball is soft for having two mvps and Cys young. Grow up, nerds.

It’s almost like the Texans SHOULD force the ball to Nico Collins, like everyone said all offseason.

That said when I think of really good multiseason shows where the first season is the best they’re usually more episodic than serialized (House, Veronica Mars, etc.)

Yeah I also think I need to adjust to the fact that the era of shows needing 2-3 seasons to hit stride is over because if you aren’t great quickly you won’t get renewed. The Bear and The Pitt had obviously great first seasons.

Refined Yellowjackets take now that I’m through two seasons:

Season 1 truly was as good a first season as any show has ever had. I enjoyed Season 2 a lot, but I get why others didn’t. That said, as a very big Buffy the Vampire Slayer fan, I am the target audience here.
