In May 2022 FDA filed a petition by NGOs to ban and restrict certain uses of #BPA based on the latest EFSA risk assessment. Jan 20th marks the first year of the EU ban on most uses of BPA. FDA has yet to take substantive action. By law, FDA has 180 days to act.
