@diginode.tools Just Built a Diginode with Raspberry Pi4.
25.06.2025 22:32 β π 4 π 1 π¬ 0 π 0Running a testnet node is optional, though the space it takes up is pretty small - currently 3gb only vs 38gb for mainnet. It is helpful to developers to run one, even if you are not a developer yourself. A Pi 5 is more than up to the task. I would run one if you can. I run one on my Pi 5 8gb.
26.01.2026 15:29 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Hi, this is working now - you can now upgrade to v8.26.2. I could not release 8.26.1 because DigiByte Core did not provide the necessary binaries for ARM devices. (i.e. Raspberry Pi etc.)
26.01.2026 15:23 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0π£ Announcement: You can now update your DigiNode to DigiByte Core v8.26.2
If you run into any issues with the update process, please let me know. Any problems with DigiByte v8.26.2 should be raised with DigiByte Core: github.com/DigiByte-Cor...
5/ DigiNode Tools v0.11.1 also includes a bunch of bug fixes and other tweaks to make it more robust and reliable. Please upgrade your DigiNodes today. You can see the full release notes here: diginode.tools/release-notes/
20.04.2025 17:47 β π 4 π 0 π¬ 0 π 04/ The DigiByte mempool stats will automatically hide if no transactions are seen for 30 seconds (useful for testnet mempool) and you have the option to disable this feature in diginode.settings if you want.
20.04.2025 17:47 β π 2 π 0 π¬ 1 π 03/ Also new! DigiNode Dashboard now displays mempool stats - watch in real time as transactions get added to the mempool! The Dashboard also shows the number incoming and outgoing connections of the peers you are connected to. Shout out to Patrick Starfish who suggested both these features!

2/ The new DigiByte port tester is tightly integrated into the DigiNode Dashboard so that with the tap of a key you can instantly check that your DigiByte mainnet and/or testnet nodes are visible to the rest of the network.
20.04.2025 17:47 β π 3 π 0 π¬ 1 π 01/ π£ DigiNode Tools v0.11.1 is live! Here's what's new:
DigiNode Dashboard now has a brand new #DigiByte port tester built for DigiNode Tools that can test both regular and Tor nodes. The port tester is also available for anyone to use at the link below.
@diginode.tools hey just installed the diginode tools on my rPi 4B!

06.09.2024 13:44 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 1 π 03/ Making #Tor work for #DigiNode has been weeks of hard work, with plenty of late nights lying awake puzzling through how to make it happen! I am really proud of this one, but it has definitely been the biggest challenge of an update ever for DigiNode Tools.
