10.02.2025 09:09 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Never knew this happened. I DO remember ETP1 on C4 late at night but I don't ever remember the ROC switch in 1991. That was the feed used prior to 0830 in mist regions (not in Mendip), and always seen prior to August 1982, first seen September 1981. Tone was the same too! 400 Hz mono! Brilliant!

10.01.2025 15:37 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0And the harp music during that sequence. I never knew there was a tine that accompanied it. The video is 10 seconds of that idebt but how long was it in full? Do you know the title of the music played on the harp? Thanks.

Sorry if posted twice. This test card was used on BBC2 in the afternoon but in northern Ireland what music was used on it? Sane as Glasgow or was it completely separate? Tganjs
26.11.2024 14:13 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0This was the BBC2 opted out test card used on weekday afternoons. want to know if possible if music was shared with Glasgow or did they have their own? Thank you.
26.11.2024 14:07 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0...or same as Birmingham opt? For Philips 5544 optouts in the afternoon, it is known of a Birmingham Glasgow and (I think)! Bristol playout. Birmingham music heard in East Anglia Midlands, Glasgow heard in Scotland and the North NW and NE. Wales got I think Bristol. What about NI? Glasgow? Thanks.
26.11.2024 14:04 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0Question is what happened after that? 1kHz tone and blank screen or test card F and tkHz tone? And does anyone happen to know what test card music was played from Belfast playout in the 70s and if BBC2 opted out if network in the afternoon, was the music accompanying Philips 5544 same as Glasgow...
