My thanks to the Friends of the Beacon, Whitehaven for a festive evening talking about Cumbrian Christmas traditions. Sadly, there were no snow pancakes (yes, they are a thing!), but I did have some Cumberland gingerbread made to the recipe of late fell running legend Jos Naylor.

Interesting

So far, I only know the chapter numbers are different.I was reading something else that referred to the Hillwalking book but my chapter numbers didn't match theirs. That was the clue my edition was out of date.

Is the content the same? I know sometimes if they change printers, they can use different grades of paper. Same thing happened with the Wainwright books when they moved the printing to Asia.

Agreed. I'm careful who I follow back. I always check what stuff the tweet and retweet. Guy followed me this morning and his profile was a load of links to go and contact him on telegram to buy a variety of drugs reported and blocked.
