We are calling on the Department of Homeland Security to immediately reinstate Temporary Protected Status for Burma. The decision to terminate TPS is based on false information and hands a dangerous victory to one of the world’s most brutal military regimes.

Rights groups slam Trump administration for ending Myanmar deportation protection as civil war rages Rights groups have criticized the Trump administration's decision to end deportation protections for Myanmar citizens.

Ending Temporary Protected Status (TPS) for Burma ignores the reality of a country in active civil war, ongoing Rohingya genocide, and widespread civilian attacks.
