Finally obtained both volumes of Metal Gear Nonsense from @othatsraspberry.com 💛

Watched Uncut Gems last night without knowing it’s hailed as one of the most nerve wracking ways to spend 2 hours. 5 Stars, but couldn’t possibly do it again.

I said at the end of last year my time as a Streamer is coming to a close, and I'm pivoting my efforts into my art-focused activities.

I really like this growing trend of adaptions being faithful to the core material, regardless of how it may look.

Well, he's entitled to his slopinion.

As I said, the Visor fell out almost as soon as I took it out the box. It was a bit of a pain to get back in. Unsurprisingly it doesn’t fit flush with the whole helmet.

Not a huge problem, after some troubleshooting I secured it in, and that’s it finished. 🙂

The visor was an odd orange colour and when powered the intended blue glow was more of a weedy pale blue than it should be.

Fixed that by cutting up a blue sun visor and glueing it on.

Then with a silver paint pen, I began giving the paint a chipped and tarnished look.

Started by giving it a simple black wash to weather and dirty it up, giving it a vastly more realistic look.

Back in early 2020 I bought this really quite terrible #Titanfall helmet as a project that I never got round to.

So last week I decided I’d finally do it. Here’s how it looked stock, minus the visor that fell out.
