We have a huge library of physical books, and a few months ago, we removed hers. I wanted to throw them away, but my partner ended up donating them. But I know a bunch of people who are allies, who have no intention of quitting JK's work. And I'm not sure we're ever reaching them.

That's cool. But The Force Awakens beat its ticket sales and even beats its adjusted for inflation box office returns. And as we know, that is what determines which one is better. Right? Or is that only when it works for my argument? Crap. I can't remember how Star Wars discourse works.

I doubt it. While lots of people are willing to act as if they are bending the knee to Trump, he's old & he's done in 3 years. Most of them plan to stick around for a while. So why would they take things out when they have DECADES to suffer the consequences of that? They won't. It will all be there.
