The issue is the "backbenchers" can't win a Presidency, and the front is getting paid to keep the status quo. If "backbenchers" would back off some of the progressive issues and focus on the economy and affordability...they wouldn't be so farfetched.

Why would anyone be surprised? Reps have been sabotaging the ACA since Trump's first term. The reality is we need vast Healthcare Reform in this country that attacks making money off the American people's health issues, and incentivizes keeping us healthy.

Voters want a Democratic party that has done what it always has...which is fix the economy. But that progress has slowed over the years due to Citizens United and Dems taking money and making money through investments. Take the money out of our politics. Just pay them.

How about you fix the laws that protect thieves in general and allow to companies to protect themselves again, without fear of lawsuits.

This is why I'm an Independent. Dems can't recognize that America needs less radical policies, not to go in the complete opposite way of Trump just because Trump. Normalize our politics again please.

Because moderates aren't voting for Progressives...period. And Zohran also said a lot of socialist rhetoric that he won't be able to follow through on. Progressives don't focus or have a plan on any one thing other than socialism and raising taxes.

A Mayoral race is much different the Presidential race.

It wasn't just to his base. He converted a bunch of moderates that voted for Biden. The Dems have no message for them at the moment because they're constantly trying to fix everything at once, when most Americans don't care about everything...they only care about what affects them.

Trump literally lied to Americans and said whatever was necessary to win. Then he went full Project 2025 when he got in, after acting like he had nobidea what it was.

No, they voted against a Woman that was presented at the last moment, and that waffles on her policies, while being a part of the current administration that was blamed for the border. Dems have a messaging issue. The masses want a good economy and safety. Lean into that, and not the rest.

That's why I want a moderate. We don't need to go to socialism. We need to go back to the restrictions we had for companies, making sure consumers are protected, reverse the tax cuts for the wealthy, and maybe find them a tax break if they pay their employees a certain percentage of profits.

You have to have it. Countries and others are waiting for a weak spot. The Government needs to do whatever it needs to do to preserve our way of life.

I'd rather have them than Reps. Both are on the take at this point. Our economy and the wealth gap will only widen until Americans start paying attention to who really runs this country, until then, true change isn't possible, and Progressives are a waste of a vote.
