These people aren’t credible scientists and they’ve made it clear by their own actions today that facts are not of importance to them.

How many times do we need to hear the phrase “I know we don’t have any data, but…” during this meeting?

Current ACIP Member Evelyn Griffin, MD blaming illegal immigration for patients having hepatitis B. This is racist.

The ACIP does not have any standing to affect domestic immigration policy or procedures.

Their substacks, consulting, new jobs that they are completely unqualified for…

What the anti-vax members of ACIP seem to saying is:

“We have no evidence of harm with the birth dose of HBV vaccine. We have no data demonstrating any harm, so we can’t show it. But this is suspicious so we need to keep looking until we confirm our unsupported belief that it causes harm”.

Cassidy suggests HHS is anti-science ahead of hepatitis B meeting - Roll Call Sen. Bill Cassidy said federal health officials might be biased agains science.

When asked on Wednesday why the panel would target the Hep B vaccine, Cassidy said of Kennedy’s HHS: “The best I can tell is that they have a prejudice against science. That’s the best I can tell.”

Reminder: ACIP doesn’t have the authority to tell insurers to cover the multiple later blood draws they’re recommending.
That’s aside from them not understanding that you have a series to get lasting immunity, not just temporary antibodies, so should complete it.

We need about a dozen people live posting this mtg as statement after statement is false. The facts on Hep B vaccine are pretty simple:
-we tried universal screening and it didn’t work
-Hep b vaccination of newborns has safely prevented disease
-ACIP is operating on vibes, not facts
