Yes, it is Ajovy which comes in either a prefilled syringe or autoinjector. Not ideal for kiddos (or anyone) who are needle phobic but it is a trade off, for sure.

I can't recall if I had it with the injections. But I took Qulipta for about two months and stopped because of GI side effects. That was three and a half months ago. Now my hair is shedding BAD. Other than being in a state of perpetual stress, it's the only other thing I can think of.

Reposting (forgot to post to migraine feed):

Wondering if anyone else has hair loss w/CGRP meds for migraine?

Tried Nurtec, but 4-5 mo in started noticing MAJOR hair loss. Now on Emgality & after 4 mo started to see same thing. Saw dermatologist and doctor (not thyroid).

Oh, no, even after you were so careful to make sure they'd keep you on Botox.

No, it's totally understandable. I get it. Losing foods is incredibly hard for lots of reasons.

No, this is good. And it could help shape a well-rounded treatment plan that has options for various scenarios. I think this is a great point!

Agreed. 100%. Beyond the typical MIDAS work and household chores questions.

But also to both our points about comorbidities and getting all our diagnoses right. 🎯

Yessss. This. I've seen more interest in defining refractory migraine, so hopefully understanding it and why treatments fail us is next.

I wish mine had time to ask about how my other conditions impact treating my #migraine because it really complicates things.

I’d like their opinions, but also, to not be written off as β€œnon-compliant” when I refuse something that would worsen another condition.

What is one thing you wish your healthcare providers would ask you about your migraine attacks - or living with migraine - that they don’t (at all or enough)? Something that would maybe help them better understand life with #migraine.

No, this was for an achy knee. I'm not sure if I've tried it on my neck.

I also appreciate it congratulating me for my hundreds of minutes of weekly exercise earned mostly by standing up and doing any number of mundane things like making breakfast or brushing my teeth.

I was putting on Voltaren and my Fitbit detected exercise (spinning). Lolol.

Yeah, I assume same which is why I'm not psyched she's still thinking of visiting these people when they're "better" (having not tested for anything). Not that rapid tests are even reliable.

Anyone know if any of the currently circulating strains of covid are presenting with GI symptoms? Family member was supposed to visit friends (still might later) who have β€œstomach flu” and likely won’t test for covid.

I've used them in the past but they actually have charged me more to compound really low doses because they aren't their standard amounts. Maybe that's changed. It has been a couple years. I can call.

#NEISvoid I'm looking to try LDN again and want to start *very* low (without necessarily mixing my own solution). I'd also like to be able to pick from a range of fillers. Do you have a compounding pharmacy you use that doesn't break the bank?

Were they put there by a man, in a factory downtown?

(Please tell me you're old enough to get the reference.)

Also, I'm assuming you've talked with your/a headache specialist to make sure this is migraine and not neuralgia or something else? Only wondering because that might change treatments.

Have you already tried Botox?

There's also a neurmodulation device that targets the trigeminal and occipital nerves (Relivion).
