I think the hick up is that people who view the game as just another game fail the first minute in the open world. Kcd2 wants you to think "what would a baked wounded Henry do IRL" and do that. You can't just go merrily exploring and killing bandits when you're not ready. Role play Henry😉

Think of it like real life, would you go against an armoured opponent if you didn't have at least the same level of armour and weaponry? Are you using blunt weapons against armour? Because a sword won't do much unless you're very skilled. You can also use poisoned piercing arrows.

Just do what you would do if you were Henry 😀

I think it's free to play this weekend on steam and Xbox. The first two hours are the tutorial and getting you up to speed with the story. Then alchemy is the best way to earn money without stealing. There's a recipe book in the alchemy shed.

What is different about kcd2 is that you have to play it like real life. If you try to play it like Skyrim, you die😅

Same same, I'm happily forging in Kuttenberg ignoring the main quest....

It's great! If you come into a shop, don't buy anything and just lure, the rob the shop at night (nobody sees you), the guard will arrest you and search you because of your suspicious behaviour. If you leave the door open, the NPCs will go check their chests!

Okay Kingdom Come Deliverance 2 has so much depth to it. I kept trying to solve a quest by doing different things and every "Hmm what if I tried this.." I could do.

Kingdom Come Deliverance 2. You can live in that game. The Npcs are like real people with real jobs, a real place to sleep etc. It actually is an RPG in which the choice you would make IRL is the best one in game. Stealth mission? Wear black and no armour. Fighting sn armoured opponent -a warhammer.

It's a time-travel-to-high-middle-ages game that is funny, adventurous, full of heart and nuanced characters that are like real people. It's a game that respects your intelligence and let's you think of solutions that would work IRL and in game.
