Just posted new blog on Bluesky and not (yet) on Twitter. Be interesting to see engagement. Will I fold and put it on Twitter too? Please help me avoid the temptation by reposting here!

I know lots of people use “Rose Blanche” when they study World Wars but here is a blog of other picturebooks I would use, all are true stories, wonderfully told and illustrated. They are powerful and moving and about the small actions that make a difference. smithsmm.wordpress.com/2023/12/29/u...

DfE have issued a statement that regional gaps in attainment remain significant. London and the North East continue to be the highest and lowest performing regions respectively, with the difference in grades 7 or above between up to 10.7ppt , compared to 9.3ppt in 2019.
