I don't see the solution as "No Israel." The solution is "No ethnonationalist lies in Israel, and a move towards secular, liberal, pluralistic co-existence as the future safety, not telling Jewish kids that they HAVE to have their own country to be safe, who then grow up and justify civilian murder.

Because while I will say that I think the creation of Israel was a mistake, I don't think its existence necessitates the atrocities happening in Gaza. That is the argument that Netanyahu is making, "Israel, in order to exist, must do these things."

I think people need to just toughen up and understand that a random weirdo/a groupchat of 10 random weirdos accusing you of being a nazi is just a non-event. I feel like we understood this on forums and then forgot it when people got afraid it was going to lead to cancellation.
