So the question of course is how. It varies from state to state:

1) Gather signatures on a petition in your state house district. (Have others do the same.)
2) Your state may ratify through the state legislature; or place it on the ballot.
3) Your federal representatives read it before Congress.

Not at all. But it’s fixable. My suggestion is to look at the debate between the federalists and anti-federalists in the Philadelphia Convention. This government as constructed; isn’t supposed to be.

I think you missed the point made by the Founding Fathers. A bloodless revolution was their goal.

But to get there, you need to actually hold your local government accountable; and compel them to ratify the First Amendment.

It did nothing because Congress is corrupt. If they can’t get reelection dollars from their constituents or handlers for doing it; they won’t.

Fix the problem, demand better representation by demanding more representatives!

And YOU, are in charge of fixing it. No organization, no charity, no political group will bother fixing it: They’re in on the game. They ONLY make money because you’re too lazy to actually demand the solution.

Watching the events to unfold on Capitol Hill, and all I can hear is each bleating politician polishing the apple for their handlers. The American people deserve a better government than one bought and sold to the highest bidders. This isn’t a conspiracy. This is just consequence.

How can you regulate a population when there are so few ruling over so many?

Each HoR member has a minimum constituency of 400k, and approaching 1M...

Go answer THAT question, and try doing it without the word "corruption".

Take a high-speed rail map overlaid over a population density map of Europe and overlay all of that over a similar constructed map of America.

Note that as the population density rises past European levels there is light rail, and between closely spaced nodes there is high speed rail. Mind the gap

Now let’s force you to think about it. Everyone in that picture has the same problem. They’re fighting it, and they believe everyone else is to blame.

But do you know how? The very first thing you need to be able to do is articulate the problem.

1) It’s corrupt.
2) It doesn’t have to be.

Hitler was shot, burned, buried, exhumed (repeat the last two but add in dead dogs), encased in a crate, buried, used as target practice for artillery, exhumed, and finally poured into a river.

If Americans actually knew this, half of them would have hope for the future.

I have to confess: I keep my Twitter account mainly to watch the notifications fill up with Elon Musk posting into an echo chamber.

It isn’t civil.
It was civil when the Tea Party was formed and they wanted lower taxes. It was civil when the Freedom Caucus wanted regular order and debate.
It’s not civil when you want to destroy freedom, eliminate voting, enslave millions, and feed the population poison in the name of health.

The problem is one of balance. We’re out of it. Despite 150.8 million votes, the winner won by 231,000 popular votes and was awarded 312 out of 438 electoral college votes.

We should care on this alone.
We should care they’re going to ramrod through the most unqualified cabinet in history.

I’ll offer a suggestion. Don’t. We’re all guilty of it; we love talking about symptoms without talking about the actual problem.

The actual problem is this: The Government is corrupt. The focus of its members is on campaign dollars not constituents.

And only the constituents can change it.

No. I’m concerned that they’re so easily distracted that herding up millions of them won’t raise an eyebrow.

So the margin of victory by the absolutely tyrannical interpretation of Article 1, Section 2, Clause 3 of the Constitution is 42. As cemented by the 1929 Permanent Apportionment Act. Signed by the LAST Republican failure: Herbert Hoover

We have 2 from every state, but 1 for every 471000 people. The actual margin is completely overwhelmed by this overcount.

And the reason it wasn’t close was the over counting of the value of senators in the electoral college and the undercount of the Representatives in the House. The Constitution calls for 2 Senators from each state and 1 Representative for every 30,000 people.

232606 people was the actual margin of victory. Deciding the fate of 333 million people nationally, and potentially billions around the world.

All for the price of a carton of eggs.

It’s nothing more than cover to privatize government functions. Same turd wrapped in glitter.

It wasn’t close. The value of the popular vote has diminished to the point that a small group of people can sway the choice of millions. Pack the House, Ratify the First Amendment. Allow the people to hold a President in check.

It’s no longer for the people, it’s for the select few.

And it doesn’t have to be.

We crafted a unique document. And it still remains one of the most incredible of its kind. A blueprint for stability. But we’ve allowed one of its basic precepts to become severely atrophied; and we’re suffering dramatically.

It’s is no longer a government of the people, but of the select few.

In 1775 we dared to ask a series of unique questions. What power does a government have over us, and what power should we give to a new government of us, by us, for us?
