League Pass Delay

Going through these games quick because it’s Sunday, I got a busy day and we lost an hour. Just watched #Sixers v #Hawks and saw Maxey go out at the end. Sixers can’t catch a break. The play in games are beckoning.

Good morning, basketball world. So I opened the app today. Game 1 was a national game so it isn’t ready yet. Game 2 was #Nets v #Pistons and I thought I don’t need to log into the local app, I can just watch the 3 minute recap. This game is gonna stink. And um, that was a mistake.

Spurs win with some wild shenanigans at the close there. Clippers just didn’t want the ball at the end it seems. Wemby put up wild numbers for the short time he was out there. I’m gonna watch the last game on my phone in my Saturday travels. Have a great day, everyone!

Spurs close it to 11 that quarter. Wemby hasn’t been out there much. Only about 15 loud minutes thus far. Interesting to see how much they use him to close this gap.

That was not a fun half if you love the Spurs this season and do not love the Clips. They are down 20. I’m only hopeful because someone told me this was a fun one. And that would just be a sick joke if there was no incoming comeback.

Watched Phx-NO in 15 without pauses, got a little dicey there at the end for the Suns but they win. Needed to get through that because I have things to do soon and need to watch all possessions for #Spurs v #Clippers. That’s right, it’s Wemby time!

That was a typo, it should have read Blazers are shooting awful. They shot 21 of 37 from the line in a game they lost by single digits. They also played so abysmally that 4th quarter I think the Jazz staff was taking notes.

Blazers take a five point lead into the fourth. It should be noted the Rockets are shooting cringeworthy from the free throw line. I would be furious if I were a fan.

Rockets take a one point lead into the half after falling behind double digits. It’s definitely close enough for an all possessions although the momentum feels to be in Houston’s favor.

#Rockets v #Blazers next. Could be a fun matchup. Start it at 15 and I’ll bump at halftime if the Blazers keep it tight.

Looks like my original prediction will come true, it just took a while to get there. Great night for Celtics fans, after a rough first 20 minutes of game time, Tatum settled in and it was great to see him healthy.

Celtics double their lead to 10 that quarter. Mavs have made more of a game of this than I thought which is nice, even if it hasn’t been filled with highlights. I’m pretty sure Tatum didn’t miss a shot that quarter, he’s didn’t play the final 5 or so. Brown had a bunch himself.

Celtics take a 5 point lead into the half. Tatum had a put back dunk and a three on back to back possessions that send the building into an absolute frenzy. Fun times. Let’s see if that’s officially shaken off his rust for the second half, because there was definitely rust.

While it’s nice to see Tatum out there, he isn’t exactly helping the cause so far tonight. 0-5 from the field so far. Hopefully he shakes off that rust.

Well the Mavs are defying my expectations through one. They lead 22-21. As the score indicates they weren’t exactly lighting the building on fire that quarter. The most exciting shot didn’t end up counting at the buzzer.

Circling back to the first ESPN game and the Return of the Tatum featuring Coop. I’ve been looking forward to this one even if I fully expect the #Celtics to crush the #Mavs. It’ll be good to see Tatum back and maybe we get a few nice Cooper highlights out of the Mavs.

Heat pull away. Hero filled the box score while shooting 8 of 10 from three with some big shots to help them pull away. Big win by Miami to hold off the charging Hornets for at least a while longer.

Kalkbrenner is having a moment on defense right now. Think he’s at 4 or 5 blocks.

Also, it’s always fun to hang around for a close game called by Eric Collins. Normally I’m not a fan of the homer guys, but Eric always sells for both teams. It feels like pure love of basketball coming through my screen.

Hornets up 101-98 after three. I do not regret switching to all possessions. I’m not quite sure the Hornets are ready to upset one of the top seeds in round one, but I also know I don’t want to be the team to FAFO.

This one is fun. Bumped it to all possessions tied at 43 with about 5 left in the first half.

The main event from last night was on ESPN, so can’t watch that yet. Instead I’ll sample some #Heat #Hornets. That sounds like something you can get in Cajun country.

Good morning, basketball world! I watched my #Knicks live last night. They did well. It did make me sad to see Murray go down in the game that AG finally came back. #Nuggets might not catch those breaks you need to win a title this year. Unless they are saving their luck for the playoffs.

Another basketball day basically complete. I’m midway through the 15 minute broadcast of #Kings v #Pelicans, but nobody needs to hear about these teams now. I enjoy the Pels, but they lose too much. I see the promise, but would feel better if they could win some games with no lottery pick.

I did get some excitement. Lakers were a missed free throw away from tying the game with two minutes to go. It was as close as they would come. Joker had a quiet 28-12-13 on 15 FG attempts.

The notification ended after the word block… but I knew exactly where it was going without needing to see the rest. Reminded me of a perfect soccer counter where they make the extra pass

Lakers actually weren’t down 10 after three…. But they were after the first Nuggets possession of the 4th. 96-86, hasn’t been the greatest game. Lakers have never kept it within single digits for long. Let’s see if they can add some excitement to the stretch run.

For me it’s a joke. But I’m sure it’s real for some people.

Lakers chipped away at leads twice during that quarter, ended up right where they started it. Still down ten. LeBron set another record, field goals made.

Nuggets up 10 after one, could have been worse considering how it started.
