BBC article EQ Restaurant wants helipad for 'regular customer' An Italian restaurant in Lancashire wants to create a dedicated helipad for one of their regular customers who usually arrives by helicopter. The Italian Orchard in Broughton, Preston, has applied for planning permission to install a pair of helipads.

So hard to find clothes that aren't just horrible quality now.

I've spent years assuming the worst of the rich and powerful, but it turns out a lot of them are more corrupt and disgusting that I could ever have imagined.

I'm getting Tetris brain, but for chess.

I have played at least a little bit of chess every day for the last 66 days after not really playing it much before (other than knowing the basic rules)... and guess what?

I am slightly better at chess now.

I have become addicted to watching Koyaanisqatsi on a loop.

I'm so tired from fucked up sleep I feel like I've had a bunch of pills, but skipped the fun bit and went straight to the morning after misery.

Amazon and I have very different ideas when it comes to romance.

The name on the prescription was somehow different again, but they gave them to me, so I am happy with that for now (until I need to renew them in 3 months).

So frustrating when things like this go wrong. Hope you get some joy soon.

I'm trapped in some sort of horrific time loop where I got to the chemist for my meds every day and every day they tell me to come back tomorrow.

The chemist now has a prescription in my actual name, but they don't actually have the medication in stock and have said it will either be there tomorrow or maybe never because they may or may not be a manufacturing issue.

This is all really great and fine.

I have submitted my tax form, but only because I was putting off the inevitable nightmare of sorting out my prescription!

I'm really tired today for some reason.

Thank you. It's just so ridiculous. Feel like I am going to have to kick up a real fuss to get it sorted.

Going to try one more time with the GP next week (as I have to go get my meds anyway), then I will give that a shot. Cheers.

I have asked them so many times now, but they just keep telling me everything looks correct on their end, so they can't update anything. On the rare occasions I get a response from NHS Wales, they just send a standard response saying I need to ask my GP to update my records... and so it continues.

Such a strange occurrence, I know.

Anyway. I am quite stressed out.

So now the pharmacist downstairs has prescriptions in one name and the GP in the other, and as a result I have no medication and no idea how the fuck this is going to get sorted out.
A new one has been submitted in the correct name, but who knows where this will end.

At this point, I assumed my GP must have just reverted me back to my old name, so I popped over to see them, but nope, they still have the correct name and no record of it ever changing, and they can't fix it because it's correct.

So I pop over to the chemist yesterday, ask for my prescription, give my address, and they say "oh we don't have anybody with that name at your address, but we do have a different one".
Turns out NHS Wales have somehow managed to update my name incorrectly with my fucking chemist.

So at this point I thought, fuck it, this is obviously broken beyond repair and nobody can fix it (or even tell me who to contact about it), so I guess I just don't get to access my records/prescriptions, and will just use the old school way of letting the pharmacy recorder them for me.

Eventually one of my many attempts to sign up worked, but my name is wrong (and also weirdly appears differently in places), and it won't actually load my records properly or let me order/view prescriptions.

There is no real way to contact them via the system, and previous attempts have been completely ignored. They did send one automated email telling me to update my info with my GP, so I have tried to do that multiple times, but my GP has my correct name, so there was literally nothing they could do.

I've been trying to sort this out for so many months now, and it just keeps getting worse.

First I couldn't sign up for ages, because despite my GP and every hospital I have had surgery in having had my correct name for decades it refused to accept my ID and kept saying my name was wrong.

Having a particularly shit time with my health right now, but at least signing up for the NHS Wales app hasn't completely screwed up my medical records so my prescriptions are in a name I haven't used for 25 years leaving me without essential meds.

Oh no wait... that has happened!

Getting really distracted reading a book which is meant to be from the perspective of an older woman, but is clearly written by a middle-aged man, as he keeps going on about how lithe the other women characters are and how low cut or figure hugging their outfits are.
