In listening to the Tariff hearing happening in the SCOTUS today, Justice Roberts actually questioned why a president would actually believe he had such wide powers considering how clear the language is on Congressional powers regarding tariffs.

If this happens to California it would essentially be the U.S. government declaring a state of war against California. What else could it be? The Trump administration is signaling out any state that did not vote for Trump: and levying tariffs on countries that run ads criticizing him.
