Ford reimbursing dealers for EV charger installations Ford is paying back retailers as much as $240,000 over the next few years for investments they had been required to make to continue selling F-150 Lightnings, Mustang Mach-Es and E-Transits.

Ford is repaying dealers for part of the cost of the EV chargers they were required to install as part of a now-discontinued program.

Some retailers can get as much as $240,000 back.

Electric Mustang Mach-E outsells gasoline Mustang for first time Sales of the gasoline-powered Mustang fell 9.5 percent to its lowest level in at least two decades amid supplier challenges, Ford said.

A sales milestone for Ford's electric Mustang Mach-E: it outsold the gas-powered Mustang by nearly 8,000 units in 2024, the first time since it went on sale in late 2020.
