today marks 3 years since compiling a thread of all altered or removed scenes/pages/panels from phantom blood (many involving character beats that were sorely missing in the anime), so i thought it'd be fun to repost as so to bring those differences to this underrated part to the forefront again! 🥰

Dio — the man with high body count in both senses

I decided to squeeze in a new chapter in middle. I’ve tried to write in a way that also conveys Dio’s inner tone.

I also made lots of subtle changes to all chapters for readability’s sake but the story remains the same. So no need to reread chapters 1 and 3.

Power scalers be like “DIO with the world would kill Jonathan” or something like that (even reversed) but I would just go DIO would be shocked over seeing jojo again, thinking some twisted stand attack then realizing true then not sure how to react maybe saying a weak “Jojo?”

So basically aged rockstar vibe with still wearing heavy makeup but it clashes with his aging skin but hey Dio is Dio

Also with the body I mean he still got Jojo’s body with its larger frame

He still wore big heart buckles. Someone stole one of them and I took it and gave back to him and flirted a bit because hey it is Dio

First dream: I hugged Superman and embraced hard then I felt his boner

Second dream: I met DIO has survived SDC and lost vampirism and stand. 2025. He looks rough as he has aged further still having his head of hair but sparse and fried hair and has deep wrinkles. Still big body. Still arrogant

The man in the high castle is a good “what if” United States (half of it) became Nazi and how US citizens coped. Some tried to rebel in secret, some bide their time hoping to be free but pretends to be perfect Nazi. And some got corrupted.

But with trump it is happening internally…

The intent with this is that reality isn’t black and white. There were Germans even within the Wehrmacht that really didn’t like the situation but couldn’t do anything. Or they could but them they’d be sent to the camps or outright killed for treason.

Imagine this: Trump is on his way to become hitler II. What if shit happens. You’re forced drafted as soldier. Suddenly you’re just like the Nazi soldier.

When I look at trumps doing and meeting Putin and all that I suddenly thought of President Valentine. Valentine doesn’t care at all about other people he only cared about himself but in that extension about United States but he’s not above killing citizens if needed. Hmm!
