Mika put in a good shift in the #PR02 this afternoon. In a race of high drama, it can be a relief to bring the car home, but we must confess that the team hopes for improvement soon. We're near there!

Mika #Salo said of the Qualifying result,
"Honestly, I don't know where the speed from Pre-Quali went. I'm disappointed for Ukyo. He was so buzzed on Friday morning, and now he's upset. The mood in the team is low; it's going to take some effort from me tomorrow to improve it"

The team have to view Qualifying as something of a disappointment considering both drivers posted substantially better times in Pre-Quali. Ukyo is especially disappointed 😞

A tremendous performance from both our drivers today, our best showing yet in Pre-Quali. With pace like this, we hope Mika and Ukyo will both get into the race on Sunday.

Monaco was always expected to be a tough GP for the car so it was just a relief to get to the end of the race. It was beautiful seeing #PR02 running around the track this afternoon. On to the next round.

MARTINI PREPARED FOR PR02 TEST

Mauro #Martini was present for the delivery to #Bridgestone of the #PR02 driven by Mika #Salo at yesterday's Pacific GP. Pacific has agreed to provide Bridgestone with the PR02 for tyre development testing.

SALO RUES RELIABILITY

Mika #Salo has expressed his disappointment that he wasn't able to show his best in race, citing issues trying to bring home an ailing car. Mika believed a top-10 finish was even possible but for the reliability.

After a good Qualifying we looked on for a good result, but early on it was clear there was an issue with the car and we weren't able to fight on track. That we were classified is as much as we could hope for today. 😔

2nd on aggregate probably not a true reflection of the team. Mika unlucky on his last run and traffic stopped Ukyo getting a clean lap. Hopefully, both will qualify for the race.
