I had a leftover piece of Popeyes chicken on a plate that I had recrispyfied in the air fryer. Quin asked for some chicken too--even though he only eats the outside😖🤨😒🙄. I gave him his crisped up pieces & when I sat down to eat, do you know this Negro had eaten the skin off of my chicken?!?! Livid.

All I'll say is: Brandon is no Quin

Here's me dying inside while modeling normalcy & lack of fear in the face of the underlying threat of a potential incomprehensible but heated exchange between the two boys AND the presence of three piglets that we were expected to not only be delighted with but also were encouraged to hold.

I was trying so hard not to laugh! So apparently they can be cool in the classroom, but surely Brandon shouldn't rate the same invitation that Quin received to a hot ticket party (for which the invitation enigmatically & somewhat frighteningly promised "Pizza at 1:00. Piglet visit at 2:00.")

I've since learned that they get along pretty well and the kid even recorded a message for Quin's transition meeting saying what he liked about him. When I was finally able to get Quin to tell me why he was upset that Brandon had been at the party, his answer was, "Because he was invited, too."

At a bday party last week, Quin & a classmate locked eyes with malevolent "on site" energy. I was hard-pressed to determine how two autistic kids w/very limited socialization skills could have gotten to the point of interacting enough to even HAVE beef, let alone what it might be based on.

I think a vegetable peeler might be more to the purpose. I don't trust the box grater to slice the apples uniformly & thinly, especially since you have to cut them in half (doesn't seem big enough to hold it). If you cut the bottom of the apple, you can stand it up & cut down w/the peeler.
