Overall really encouraging results after everything she and we have been through since January. It’s been a harrowing and very expensive journey and we worried we might have to say goodbye in May- but so glad we took this chance for hopefully several more healthy years with her.

Her liver levels which were very elevated for months from the medication she reacted badly to are also finally back to normal. Her potassium levels are a little low so we will be adding a supplement to her food for the time being but the vet is hopeful this will be temporary.

We just got Percy’s follow-up results from her radiation procedure last month. Her thyroid level is exactly where we want it and there does not appear to have been any ill effects on her kidneys which was the biggest concern.
