Close-up macro photograph of a cluster of Forget Me Not flowers growing in the grounds of Springhill House in Moneymore. The largest bloom in the centre is soft sky-blue with five rounded petals and a bright yellow eye, its surface gently textured and luminous in natural light. Nestled beside it are vivid pink buds and a partially opened magenta flower, their stems covered in fine bristly hairs. The background falls away into a smooth, dark green blur, making the colours appear almost jewel-like against the shaded garden setting. Springhill House, a 17th-century plantation house near Moneymore in County Londonderry, was built around 1667 by William Conyngham, a Scottish settler granted land during the Ulster Plantation. The house remained in the Conyngham family for generations and is known for its distinctive thatched roof, elegant Georgian interiors, and estate woodlands. Today it is cared for by the National Trust and is appreciated for both its historical significance and its tranquil, carefully tended gardens.
