had been wondering why they haven't cut Samuel yet but any extra $600k+ to wait makes a little more sense.

Perfect example of why everyone hates tech people. Perpetually aggrieved self righteous douchebags who cant even take the lightest ribbing of their unwarranted sense of self importance lol

They know that many people in the US will accept the killing of civilians overseas but will draw the line at high gas prices.

Kalshi employees "kind of understand that without the tweets and the streamers and all of the social-media stuff that the traders do for them, usually just for free, their marketing would be a lot harder," said Jack Campion, 20, a junior at the University of Wisconsin-Madison and a Kalshi affiliate.
In September, Kalshi briefly signed up a 15-year-old videogame streamer who goes by vertid online to promote its brand on X as an affiliate.
A week later, Kalshi ended the partnership.
"Yo brother, legal team confirmed that we can't work with minors rn," a Kalshi employee wrote to the user in messages reviewed by the Journal. "Kinda sad tbh."

Despite Caleb Williams' breakout, DJ Moore had a 64.7% catchable target rate in 2025 that was 10th lowest among heavily targeted wide receivers.

Josh Allen had the 4th highest on-target pass percentage (78.9%) and could be a transformative quarterback pairing for him.

Awesome. I was trying to explain this concept to someone but Mina said it better, and with more tact.

As a data person, the search for the answer sometimes sparks new ideas and new pitches! Being lazy or incurious makes you worse at your job. AI atrophies creativity in all forms, not just art.

we haven't had enough of these days in Trump 2.
these days when some cartoonishly evil admin character gets fired (not for being evil, but over their 374th petty scandal) and we get off jokes in the too-small window before their replacement establishes how they'll be evil in a slightly different way

I like the DJ Moore trade for the Bills (need to do something about the cap hit). Has been a defacto #1 with plenty of less than great QB’s before. Plus it allows the Bills to get on with the equally key needs in many other spots.

Using this good roast as a reason to post about it.

This is a good analogy. Very useful in carefully controlled settings for specific usages, but unfortunately being widely inserted into everything and used without training or PPE and poisoning a lot of things and people and we’re going to pay a tonne of money to remove it safely in the future

Sorry I'm not more open-minded about LLMs, it's just some fucking maniacs shoveled out a bunch of useless bloatware featuring that technology, did not give me any chance to opt out, reorganized the entire economy around it, zeroed out gains made by green energy, and made it impossible to buy RAM

Is a Senator who interferes with Capitol Police to break the bones of a Marine Corps veteran who's staging a protest subject to arrest for battery, or does that somehow fall under the Senator's constitutional privilege?

This is where I’ve landed too. He’s not going to get Linderbaum money but let’s limit the risk with change at LG and pay the man what he’s worth for 3 years.

if that even becomes remotely true there are even bigger issues than we could've imagined.

RFK Jr. wants Dunkin’ to prove drinking its iced coffee is safe - The Boston Globe The warning comes as Kennedy is leaning heavily into his agenda to improve American diets.

This moron has no idea how much of a third rail this is. If he goes through with a public fight with Dunkin he will never live this down. In the words of my people "fuck ya motha."

Also it looks like 6 incumbent Republican state lawmakers in NC (including the Senate president who they spent $10M on) may lose. No idea what's going on with those.

One of the funniest things to come out of this are the brits who won’t leave Dubai even as it’s being bombed. One influencer adjacent guy went on a live stream on his balcony and said he’d rather be killed by Iran than go back to Wigan
