I've written the Crew Handbook for Star Trek Lower Decks, the Prospectus for Life is Strange's Caledon University, the joke book for Doctor Who and the continuing misadventures of the deadly starship Fermi. https://chrisfarnell.com

25.11.2025 14:53 โ ๐ 3 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0That last RT has reminded me that I spend a good ten to fifteen years of my life wondering why Dr Peter Venkman didn't think any *human* could stack books like this.

I have just completed my Self Assessment Tax Return (bar getting my accountant to read it and point out my stupid mistake). Quite a pleasantly dull and routine process compared to the heart palpitations, hyperventilation and blurred vision it brought on a few years ago.

When you've been given another study that shows it helps people to give them money.

Doing it for foreign governments is new though.
That is a terrible way to perform surgery.

The "Adult Era" is only really called that because you're calling it that, isn't it? That's not science, it's nomenclature.
Very shiny. Meanwhile Tennant lets the whole side down by just turning up in his work clothes.
25.11.2025 10:44 โ ๐ 1 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 1 ๐ 0Also how can you be a "bit" of the war? Surely if you are in the war you are assuming the role of one of the people or factions in that war, not the role of "a thing that happened"?

This made me look her up again and this is her current bsky bio. So... yeah.

But it was too late, Sanguinius had already been squashed flat.
Horus looked through the cloud of feathers at the Emperor, his eyes narrow and his bald head gleaming in the light. โLetโs get Heresyโ, he shouted.

Nope. He's stoll going to live comfortably for the rest of his life with a level of wealth that's still unfathomable to you and me.
The only good way to be a billionaire is to not be one.
I nearly had a rescue attempt from the entire gestalt human race.

Mostly agree although I feel like Solo gets done dirty every time with these.

Only You Can Save Mankind is perfect for 13yo boy, and is (unfortunately) still horribly relevant despite being a book about videogames published in 1992.

They're hired to paint an old gas holder, and they realise that if they get a bunch of splotches of paint dotted around the upper half of the structure, nobody will ever look closely enough to see if they've actually properly painted it.
Good film.
