Splatoon 3 was officially announced 5 years ago… we found out splatoon 3 was real HALF A DECADE AGO 😭😭😭

I love bluesky’s commitment to announcing new updates/features EVERY time another app is getting critiqued for something, they do it every time like clockwork 😭

For all the speculation about what was gonna be added in splatoon 3’s 11.0 update, I don’t think a single person had down “aura farming will unironically become an actual in game mechanic” 😭

I feel like if they were gonna do a switch 2 edition it would’ve been announced with raiders since that’s gonna be a switch 2 exclusive. But I don’t even think it would make sense for s3 to have a switch 2 edition, it’s more likely s4 would just be a switch 2 exclusive instead

I currently have an ear infection & the doctor told me to try avoid headphones for a week so I was playing Splatoon without them & I can’t explain it but splatoon music sounds way more “splatoony” out loud like idk if I was just more aware of it or what, but the squid noises just feel… AMPLIFIED 😭

Splatoon Raiders was officially announced 6 months ago… 6 WHOLE MONTHS, where has all that time gone 😭😭😭

my splatoon hours are so all over the place like will I be playing for 15mins or 4hrs today? no one knows, not even me I literally open the game and go on vibes 😅

imo music should stay a separate app but all the others can be combined

my bet is nintendo release their own social network at some point, I think a lot of this was prompted by el*n messing up twitter so badly that they’d rather make their own version of everything, instead of trusting other apps

Splatoon fans would NOT survive the Pikmin release schedule. Splatoon is getting its 4th game (even though raiders is a spinoff) in 11 years next year. Pikmin fans waited 9 years between 2&3, and then 10 years between 3&4 😭 Nintendo haven’t forgotten, it’s been a few months 😭
