Idk if this helps, but I've had some success with the method of drawing things that are bad on purpose. Gets the pencil moving for a bit, helps me get my brain past some of the perfectionism before I transition to drawing stuff I care more about

Personally I think text emoticons are more fun and silly than emojis, if people want to read into a sincere expression of emotion that's their problem imo. If there's no other reason to believe you're being insincere, I think people should be fine with it :)
