I forgot to put in an alt text. The picture is a screenshot of the Fitbit app for weight tracking. It's showing a curve for the first few days of January.

Fitness tracking apps really need a "past 30 days" or "past 7 days" graph, etc. for tracking goals. When you hit the first of the month, or a Sunday, it's hard to see what your progress has been.

...which makes sense to me, as I'll often see something and think, "I need to watch that". Then when I get to it, I've actually clicked on a different thumbnail. Thus, you don't actually know which one got my attention. Idk if you have thoughts on the experimental validity 😂

@hankgreen.bsky.social just a question on the A/B/C titles / thumbnails of YouTube, since it was mentioned in your video. As one user, I get served multiple different versions. With A/B testing of software, I was taught that one user's experience should never change to make the experiment valid...

On my car, it makes it so the throttle pedal is less sensitive and more linear, so it's easier to be gentle when starting out. Otherwise, it's kinda punchy with very little pressure. It's a compliance car conversion of an ICE vehicle, so I don't think they did as much tuning as they could have done.

There are times I want AWD but with winter tires / CC2s I've passed so many SUVs and Subarus etc. in my little FWD cars. Only problem is having instant torque with an electric motor can challenge traction. I have to turn on "Eco" mode to limit throttle response, but it turns down the heater, too. 🙃
