Honestly I wouldn’t doubt that a TON of those people could write better than JKR. I remember a lot of filling in the gaps to fill in the plot holes/confusing bits in the lore.

This bit in the From Russia With Love game made me laugh out loud. You've got a fairly grounded, low key fight based on the one in the movie, then the most video game looking fucker of all time slides into frame.

My relationship with HP is that I was kind of ambivalent towards the books after 3, but some of the fanfic was very good (at least my 10 year old self thought so).
