This was never about protecting kids.

• The Dept. of Ed? It enforces civil rights, funds underprivileged schools, and collects data—states already control curriculum.

This isn’t about shrinking gov’t. It’s about shrinking opportunity.

Ask for data. They won’t have it. Now you do.

• We were never “#1” (no rankings existed).
• 31st? That’s a systems ranking, not student performance.
• We spend more—because our system is a decentralized mess.
• The 28% stat? Made up.

“The U.S. was #1 before the Dept. of Ed! Now we rank 31st! We spend more than anyone, and 28% of grads can’t read!”

Sounds bold, right? Too bad it’s mostly false.

It denies future generations the ability to think critically, understand diverse perspectives, and navigate the world. Education should empower, not silence.

If we don’t find a way to effectively mobilize a truly progressive coalition of people willing to stand up to the corporate rape of our nation by both parties, humanity certainly won’t survive this ongoing horror of grift, greed, and genocide.
