So by executive order Trump has implemented a total and complete shutdown not just of #NIH et al communication but of all basic science research.
Delays in funding, however temporary, are costly. But this level of disruption for any sustained period of time will decimate universities.
NIH funding brings $3.8 BILLION to North Carolina. Losing this funding would not only hamper what we learn from NIH research that directly improves the health and well-being of people living in the US and elsewhere but would have a huge impact on the NC economy.

Students have collaborated with a Detective Sergeant from the Michigan State Police on an active cold case file and it has been an amazing journey.

Devastating. At last week's criminology meetings, James Densley, David Pyrooz & Jillian Peterson shared results of their nationally representative YouGov survey of exposure to mass shootings (w/ 4+ shot).
7% of US adults reported being present on scene at a mass shooting
2% reported being injured
I know everyone is talking about Matt Gaetz but please don't miss this:
Georgia fired every single person on its maternal mortality review committee. Why? They didn't like that reporters found out that the state's ban killed two women www.propublica.org/article/geor...
The Heritage Foundation has released a report on how to raise marital birth rates via education policy. I have some thoughts. /n www.heritage.org/sites/defaul...
