Ah, yes. I'd recommend asking M about that one—he was the one playing through that section, and he was very happy about being able to use Shove that way.

That being said, I'd nuke the Basement with a degree of violence in my heart I didn't know I possessed. In other words: it's the best area in the game. I also never want to see it again. I also want every game I'll play in the future to have something that's exactly like That™

First off, shout out to the Care Center area in the game. Classic RE environment/loop, 10/10, I could (and probably will) spend dozens of hours running around the main wings.
Cons: The chef was not nice to me :( I have TEW trauma, there was no need to be like that /j
